Conor McGregor has been arrested and charged with dangerous driving in Ireland

The 33-year-old was reportedly pulled over by Irish authorities, who seized his $187,000 Bentley before it was later returned to him.

The charges carry a maximum fine of around $7,300 and up to six months in jail.

The two division UFC World Champion has denied the allegations against him. He says he was driving to the gym when he was stopped but has been released on bail.

It’s believed that he also passed drug and alcohol tests at the police station.

The Irishman has not fought since he broke his leg in a fight with Dustin Poirier last July. He is expected to make a return later this year.

McGregor was named Forbes’ highest paid athlete in 2021, earning a mammoth US $180 million.
