The U.S. is set to rework its trade deal with Taiwan, meeting for talks on Monday

America’s Trade Representative Sarah Bianchi will discuss a plan on 21st century trade with Taiwan’s trade negotiator John Deng.

This comes only days after the White House released an Asia-focused economic plan to stunt China’s affluence excluding the island nation.

Deng says Taiwan is aiming to secure a free trade deal with the U.S.

The Asian country is well-known for its production of semiconductors.
