Surviving terrorist of 2015 Paris attacks says accused are ‘treated like dogs’

It’s being described as the biggest criminal trial in the modern history of France, as 20 individuals take to the stand over the 2015 Paris terrorist attacks

The trial began on Wednesday and is expected to last nine months, as the only surviving member says he and the other accused members are being treated like “dogs”.

In 2015, a group of Islamic State extremists carried out coordinated shooting and bombing attacks in Paris, taking 130 lives and bringing the city to a grinding halt.

It continues to be described as the worst attack on the nation since World War Two as security right across the city is ramped up.

The last surviving member of the terror group, Salah Abdeslam told the court that he had given up his life to become an IS soldier… as the judge reminded him that it was a “democratic court”

Meanwhile, the lawyer for eight survivors of the attacks says that some of his clients are “not doing too well” after the accused’s remarks… warning that the trail will be like this for nine months.

There will be more than 140 days of hearings with 220 lawyers, 300 victims, and even testimony from former French President François Hollande, who was the leader of the nation when the attacks occurred.
