Western Intelligence officials are warning that a new Russian offensive – that rivals the size and scale of the initial invasion last February – could be underway

Russia is targeting dozens of places each day, increasing its barrage of artillery attacks.

Ukrainian forces are struggling to hold their ground on a 230km stretch in the east.

Ukrainian intelligence estimates that Russia now has more than 320,000 soldiers in the country – almost twice the size of Moscow’s initial invasion force.

Outside of Ukraine’s borders, it is estimated that Moscow also has 150,000-250,000 troops in reserve, either training or being positioned inside Russia to join the fight at any time.
